The MCG tour has always been a must do when in Melbourne

Experience the highlights of the Members Reserve, into the Long Room, down to the boundary and changerooms, and inside the Ron Casey Media Centre.

MCG Events are now expanding the popular experience, with a series of elevated tours that each feature and focus on a unique element of the MCG. www.mcgevents.com.au

A ‘day in the life’ of a commentator

Take the popular MCG tour to the next level with a peak behind-the-curtain in the Ron Casey Media Centre and explore the commentary boxes. Your guests can sit in the very same seats where Ritchie Benaud, Bill Lawry, Bruce McAvaney and Dennis Cometti called all the action.

Award-winning commentator Anthony Hudson will explain what it’s like to put words to sport’s biggest moments – and guests can even try their own hand at the big call!

Paint the G’

The Melbourne Cricket Club has been collecting and displaying artworks at the MCG for close to a hundred years. There are approximately 1500 artworks in storage at any time, allowing for content updates as required.

We have developed a ‘Cork and Canvas’ style event available for groups of any size to capture the MCG, Yarra Park and surrounds. We supply the canvas, and the catering, with an artist in resident to tutor the group and offer a tour of the art that lines the MCG walls.

A step back in time

The MCC Library was founded in 1873 and is a cornerstone of the club’s commitment to its heritage activities. A facility for reference and research, it is available for MCC Members and their guests to browse the collection and use the resources during opening hours. On non-match days it is also open to the general public by appointment.
