New President announced for Parking Australia
Parking Australia, the national body representing the interests of the parking industry in Australia, has elected six directors, (three are new to the Board) at the Annual General Meeting of the Company.
A comprehensive Presidents Report was delivered by Cristina Lynn highlighting the success of the Outlook Conference held in Sydney, the advocacy efforts through government submissions and media relations, the uptake of major parking facility operators for the Accredited Operator Scheme and the continued growth in membership.
In her final speech as President of Parking Australia Cristina outlined the evolution of the association since joining the board in 2007.
Serving four years as Treasurer and then three years as Vice President with fellow Director Joy Addison they revamped the parking conferences to the PACE successes that are today. Cristina will remain an active member of Parking Australia and in her closing words acknowledge all of those who had served on board/committees prior and congratulated the new Board members.

At the Board meeting on 15 November, Sharon Prior was unanimously voted as President and Neal Smylie was returned as Vice President. Martin Ryan takes up the role of Chair of Finance and Governance
