Delegates at the recent 2016 Associations Forum National Conference were privileged to attend a 90 minute session entitled Certification and Self-Regulation: Issues and Solutions, which was held with the support of Pearson VUE. A panel that comprised Rob Thomason, Executive General Manager, Education at CPA Australia, Dr Deen Sanders, CEO of Professional Standards Authority, Adrian Evans, Vice President, Australia and SE Asia at Pearson Vue, and Daryl Martin, Business Development Manager at Pearson VUE discussed trends and key issues in learning, assessment and certification.

Pearson VUE also presented the findings of their Professional Bodies and Certification Survey 2015, which asked 68 senior managers from professional bodies, representing multiple sectors across the market in the UK and Australia, about the learning and assessment programmes they provide. From this the report is able to provide a unique insight into their motivations and the key challenges they face and potential solutions.
