Terri Smith appointed CEO PANDA
Terri Smith is the new CEO of Post and Antenatal Depression Association Inc. (PANDA). She will commence her role on Monday 15 December 2015.
Ms Smith has a strong background in community organisations and previously held the position of CEO at Optometry Victoria. Prior to her 7 years at Optometry Australia, Ms Smith was the Deputy CEO/National Program and Policy Manager for Breast Cancer Network Australia, and the Director of Client Services for Moreland Community Health Services.
Ms Smith said she was delighted to be joining PANDA.
“Perinatal Depression is an important issue with implications across Australia for women, men and families,” Ms Smith said. “I’m excited by the opportunity to build on the great work undertaken by PANDA both in providing valued services and in raising awareness of perinatal depression and anxiety and the importance of early intervention.”
Susie White, Chair PANDA Board, welcome Ms Smith to PANDA and thanked Acting CEOs Jenni Richardson and Narelle Smith who also maintained their own roles during the 4 months PANDA was without a Chief Executive Officer.
