Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley Conference and Events Centre set to open

The largest conference and events centre in the Hunter Valley has booked it’s first event and is set to open in January 2015.

Described as having a light-filled design, the 2,000m of pre-function, meeting and exhibition space is set to market the Hunter Valley as a leading Australian Conference destination.

The Centre overlooks garden spaces and golf course greens within Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley and will be comprised of flexible conference rooms that can be broken into separate spaces or used as one ballroom. The two conference rooms have an area of 780sqm and 390sqm respectively and a combined capacity of up to 1,600 people.

Additionally, the Hunter Valley Conference and Events Centre has 8 additional meeting and event rooms.

One of the first events to be held at the soon-to-be-launched venue is the Rotary Foundation of Australia’s “Light up Rotary” conference in March, 2015. The venue is expected to host between 550 – 800 delegates from Rotary groups around Australia.
