AIME-ing to Win

Interest in AIME 2015 is rising as the business event industry leader was named Best Exhibition at the annual Australian Event Awards (AEA).

The Awards receive hundreds of applicants from organisations and associations of all sizes from all over Australia. These entries are whittled down to just four, from which AIME was chosen as the winner.

The other three competitors in the top four were Australian Tourism Exchange 2014 (Tourism Australia), Taste of Sydney 2013 (Taste Festivals) and PAX Australia. All four were judged on their innovation in relation to techniques, knowledge and practices, long term benefits to the industry and the degree to which the event delivers outcomes for attendees, exhibitors and stakeholders.

Jacqui Timmins, Exhibition Director at AIME and CIBTM, said AIME was honoured by the accolade. “At AIME we’re committed to constant innovation to ensure we provide for the industry’s evolving business needs, and this aware is further testament to our dedication to stay at the forefront, “Ms Timmins said. “Our team is passionate about ensuring we stay on top of worldwide trends to provide attendees with the latest insights, information an opportunities out there.”

AIME is the largest international business event in Australia, attracting more than 700 exhibitors from across five continents. This year’s event will be held on 24-25 February 2015 and provides the opportunity for buyers and suppliers to connect, do business and share knowledge.
