ECIA appoints Sally Moore as its new CEO
On behalf of the Chair, Liz Kelly and the Board of the Early Childhood Intervention Australia - Victoria/Tasmania, ECIA is delighted to announce the appointment of Sally Moore as new Chief Executive Officer.
A dedicated professional with thirty years of experience in the early childhood and primary education spaces, Sally has worked in NSW, Victoria, and Hong Kong.
She has spent the last fifteen years specialising in disability, much of this time in early childhood intervention services (ECIS). Her ECIS experiences have been at Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) and Melbourne City Mission, working with children and families across the north and west of Melbourne.
Working in leadership for the past seven years, Sally has focused on building high performance teams, always seeking opportunities for team members to develop new skills, take risks, collaborate, and embrace innovation. She strives to foster teams that create positive, long-term, life-changing outcomes for those accessing the programs.
Sally has been an ECIA member for the last 15 years and is excited to be part of the ECIA team. She is looking forward to working through the changes that the Disability Royal Commission (DRC) and NDIS Review will bring.
ECIA conducted an exhaustive search process, and Sally stood out for her strategic vision, leadership skills, and passion for advocating on behalf of children with developmental needs. ECIA is confident that under her guidance, the association will continue to innovate and expand services to better serve the community.
Taken from Early Childhood Intervention Australia - Victoria/Tasmania on June 28, 2024.
