New ADASA President optimistic about the future

The Australian Dental Association SA (ADASA) has announced their new president is Dr Anthony Smerdon, who was elected last month. He succeeded Dr Janet Fuss. One of Dr Smerdon’s first moves as president was to praise the recent decision to integrate the University of Adelaide’s dentistry and a public dental service. The hotline is intended to help homeowners quickly and safely get their power suppliers reconnected. The hotline number is 1300 889 198. Trisha Mok makes history at Governance Institute

Trisha Mok has been appointed president of Governance Institute. Ms Mok is only the third woman in the organisation’s 100-year history to be appointed president and chair of the professional association. WOCA headed for Sydney in 2018

The next World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) will be held in Sydney in 2018. Bill introduced to repeal the 100-member rule to call a general meeting

The Corporations Legislation Amendment (Deregulatory and Other Measures) Bill 2014 has been introduced to repeal the “100-member rule” need to call a general meeting.
