Peter Daly Resigns as CEO of Master Plumbers

After more than seven years leading the association as our Chief Executive Officer, Peter Daly has decided to step down. While he will be sorely missed, Peter and the Board have been planning for his retirement and succession for some time. We fully support his decision and wish him all the best as he focusses his time on board leadership commitments in the building and construction industry, and more broadly.
Master Plumbers has seen significant change since Peter commenced in 2018; and over this time, we have been tested by once-in-a-generation challenges such as COVID and continued tough economic times. Under Peter’s leadership and the Board’s stewardship, Master Plumbers has built strong foundations and achieved remarkable growth and success across all aspects of our Association; from enhancing member value and experiences; elevating members' voice on the Victorian and national advocacy stages; expansion of our group training offering; and a making a huge leap in the quality and scale of our apprentice and post-trade training delivery.
Peter’s vision, commitment and leadership have been integral to our progress, and we are grateful for the very positive impact he has had on Master Plumbers during his tenure as CEO and Association Secretary. Peter leaves the Association in a strong position, with excellence in our governance; modernized and enhanced business strategy, systems and processes; respected national influence on issues that impact members; and having nurtured a great leadership and team culture where our people thrive. His last day as CEO will be on 30th May 2025.
The Master Plumbers’ Board is actively engaged in the process of identifying a successor who will continue to build on the strong foundation that has been established. In the interim, we will be working closely with Master Plumbers’ dedicated executive leadership team to ensure a smooth transition; maintain our focus on delivering value to our members; and preparing your association for continued success in the decades to come. We will keep members informed of key developments as they progress.
