Felix Pirie has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the Independent Tertiary Education Council Australia (ITECA) from 3 February 2025.

Appointed as Deputy Chief Executive – Policy & Research at ITECA in 2019, Felix has led policy advocacy for independent tertiary education businesses across skills training, higher education, and international education.

With a background in legislative and policy reform across various portfolios, Felix leads ITECA in supporting the sustainability of independent tertiary education providers delivering high quality outcomes for students and employers, ensuring both can grow, innovate, and support Australia’s economic growth potential.
