Dave joined Master Builders Tasmania during a period of significant organisational change and quickly brought stability and focus to day-to-day operations. Under his leadership, the Cambridge facility was successfully consolidated, and a positive workplace culture was fostered through thoughtful and inclusive change initiatives across all three regions.

His tenure has been marked by a deep commitment to staff development and wellbeing. Dave created a workplace environment where personal growth, open communication, and behavioural awareness were actively supported. His ability to make timely and considered employment decisions helped shape a strong and resilient team.

Dave built trusted relationships with members and stakeholders alike. His clear and confident voice in the media, strong engagement with government and industry, and strategic contributions at a national level elevated Master Builders Tasmania’s position and influence. He also played a pivotal role in stabilising key sector challenges and communicating the ongoing importance of continuity and confidence in the building and construction industry.

His leadership in the acquisition and establishment of HRWS has provided a strong foundation for future growth. His work in building a strong Board, ensuring governance, and progressing contractual arrangements reflects a strategic approach and long-term vision.

Throughout his time with Master Builders Tasmania, Dave brought a refreshing energy to the organisation. His positivity, thoughtful decision-making, and encouragement of innovation and collaboration have positioned the organisation with renewed purpose and optimism for the future.
