Accord is delighted to announce the appointment of Damian Mitsch as the new Executive Director of Accord, commencing 3 February 2025.

With more than 20 years of leadership experience as CEO, board director and advisor, Damian has driven strategic reforms, advanced governance and fostered collaboration in highly regulated industries. He brings specific expertise in health, professional associations and advocacy, combined with a strong focus on innovation and sustainable growth.

Most recently the CEO of the Australian Dental Association, Damian’s leadership has consistently resulted in transformative outcomes, including significant and meaningful legislative changes along with cultural revitalisation. His collaborative approach, strategic vision and focus on sustainability align very well with Accord’s objectives of advancing industry’s profile, advocacy, innovation and growth.
