Motorcycling Queensland farewells CEO Kim Rowcliffe

The MQ Board undertook an extensive, 12-month strategic review of the products and services MQ provides to members, based on Member feedback. This reflected the Board’s desire to address the expectations of members, government and stakeholders by improving member services and outcomes.

The Board determined to form a Business partnership with Motorcycling Australia where they will provide extended operational management from National Office to the Organisation.

As a result, Kim Rowcliffe has completed his role as CEO of MQ. The board is grateful for his service with MQ and wish him well in his next position. The centralisation of MQ’s business functions will not create any loss of service or representation to members. Instead, the centralised management team will work in partnership with MQ to create high-level efficiencies.

This new structure will support the Board’s plans to meet high industry and legal standards; increase resources and support for members; provide more transparent feedback; create greater efficiencies; and provide better services to members. Initially contact with the Staff remains the same.

The MQ board is am pleased to say that they are looking forward to building on MQ’s success, implementing new processes and providing the next level of service to our over 10,000 dedicated members. The MQ board looks forward to sharing their progress as they roll out their new structure over the coming weeks.
