Sustainability has been a core focus of the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) since opening.

The venue is one of the world’s first EarthCheck Platinum Certified convention centres and will soon become Masters certified.

The venue’s latest EarthCheck audit revealed that it is regional leader in several areas of accountability including water savings, waste sent to landfill and recycling, greenhouse gas emissions (scope 1 and 2) and contributions to community.
