Changes to the Board of Directors at Osteopathy Australia
Dr Michelle Funder (Osteopath) has stepped down as the dedicated President from the Osteopathy Australia Board, after six years. Michelle Funder concluded her tenure with Osteopathy Australia after completing two full terms of service. Michelle’s leadership as President, and continuing role on our New Course Committee been instrumental in steering Osteopathy Australia toward continued success.
Dr Georgia Ellis (Osteopath) has stepped down from the Osteopathy Australia Board, after six years. Georgia Ellis, a committed Board Director, also concluded her tenure with Osteopathy Australia after completing two full terms of service.
Georgia’s strategic insights as a Board Director and former Chair of the Research Committee have been instrumental in ensuring research remains front and centre of Osteopathy Australia’s work.
Osteopathy Australia appoints new President and Vice President
Dr Matthew Cooper (Osteopath) now serves as the President, bringing a wealth of experience and a commitment to advancing osteopathic practices.
Concurrently, Dr Brett Wiener (Osteopath) has taken on the role of Vice President and continues as Chair of the Finance Committee, as well as playing an active role on the Early Career Osteopathy Advisory Group, contributing his extensive knowledge to the leadership team.
Their appointments mark an ongoing commitment to governance excellence for Osteopathy Australia, promising continued leadership and innovation under their guidance.
