New ADA NSW President Dr Dominic Aouad
Following the 2023 AGM, the Board are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Dominic Aouad as President of the Australian Dental Association NSW Branch.
Dominic is a general dentist and partner at his own dental practice in Sydney. He is a Board Director and has been Vice-President at ADA NSW and the Chair of the Filling the Gap dental charity.
Dominic has previously served as a professional officer and authorised person with the Dental Council of NSW, and currently serves on various ADA committees.
He has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and is a co-founder of Dental Compliance Australia which has a focus on improving dental practitioner compliance and patient outcomes.
In 2020, he was awarded the ADA Valuable Service Award for his contribution to communicating policy and regulation to the dental profession throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Dominic is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
"I'm deeply honoured to lead ADA NSW and extend my heartfelt thanks to our outgoing President, Dr Rohan Krishnan, for his exemplary service," Dr Aouad said.
"I look forward to working with Dr Jodie Olivier, the Board, Council, committees, CEO Ms Jae Redden, and our management team to advance oral health and empower the dental profession."
