MPA welcomes Nathaniel Smith as new CEO

The Master Plumbers Association of NSW (MPA NSW) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nathaniel Smith as its new CEO.
Nathaniel brings over 20 years of experience leading and coordinating campaigns for high-profile Companies, Associations and Organisations to the MPA NSW, with high-level experience in Government Relations, Community Relations, and PR consulting at a senior level.
He will bring fresh perspectives and strategic foresight to MPA NSW, driving it towards achieving its goals as a leading representative for plumbing contractors in NSW.
Nathaniel started his plumbing apprenticeship in 1997 and ran his own business as a licensed plumber for several years. He later took up an opportunity to work in a PR & Marketing and Government Relations firm, where he acquired a Master of Arts in Organisational Communications at CSU.
He then worked for a Federal Senator/Minister and as an Advisor to the NSW State Planning Minister before being elected as the State Member for Wollondilly in 2019. During that time, he served on several Parliamentary committees and was promoted to Government Whip in the Perrottet Government.
"As the new CEO of MPA NSW, I will embolden our advocacy efforts, maintain our high standards for education and certification, and continue to promote innovative solutions to make our industry more efficient and effective."
As the leader of the state's leading plumbing industry association, Nathaniel will take up the mantle and represent members who rely on the MPA NSW for support and education.

MPA NSW is a leading industry organisation that provides apprenticeship training and upskilling programs. It represents its members' interests to both State and Federal Governments, industry partners and the wider community.
