Institute of Public Administration Australia NSW (IPAA NSW) CEO, Madeleine Culbert, steps down after seven and a half years of dedicated service.

Madeleine led the organisation from a stable, well-performing business to one with new relevance and a large impact. She steered IPAA NSW through the turbulent times of the pandemic and the constantly changing public sector environment, reinventing the organisation for new growth, member value and strong financial security.

Madeleine’s vision, energy, focus and skillful stakeholder engagement and the building of trusting relationships secured a bright and sustainable future as the professional association for the NSW public service.

Jo Rose, 2IC and Consulting and Design Lead, will be appointed as Acting CEO on 13 December during the process of permanently filling the position sometime in the New Year.
