ATMS welcomes new CEO
The Australian Traditional-Medicine Society (ATMS) Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Annie Gibbins M.Ed. Grad.Dip.Ed. B.Hlth.Sc MAICD as the new CEO, commencing Tuesday 13 February 2024.
Annie is an accomplished Chief Executive, with a proven strategic and dynamic approach, demonstrating a passion for transformational change and an avid advocate for natural therapies.
With 25 years leadership experience, Annie has become a highly sought-after mentor, speaker, author, and publisher, renowned for her ability to inspire and motivate individuals and businesses to achieve optimal results.
Founder of Women’s Biz Global, Annie’s acumen for business development, marketing, team management, curriculum development, and student engagement and compliance, brings a new perspective to the organisation.
“I am delighted to have been appointed CEO of ATMS. Building upon the solid foundation in place I envision additional opportunities for member growth, engagement and advocacy; which I am eager to activate over the coming year and beyond,” said Gibbins.
Passionate about advocacy, Annie’s background showcases adaptability and innovation; through leading awareness campaigns, boosting membership, and fostering collaborations with stakeholders. Her strategic guidance has resulted in successful partnerships, sustainable financial models, and transformational initiatives.

The Board thanks Charles Wurf, whose eight year tenure as CEO ended in December 2023, for his instrumental dedication and service to ATMS, its members and the industry.
