Drawing on his experience across marine retail, insurance, brokerage, manufacturing and government engagement, Andrew Fielding will share insights into fostering a resilient and united boating industry community. ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Andrew Fielding, Chief Executive Officer, Boating Industry Association

Andrew Fielding is the appointed CEO of the Boating Industry Association Ltd (BIA) in 2025, Australia’s peak marine body representing the recreational and light commercial industry, Andrew previously served as the association’s President, Vice-President and Queensland State Council Chairman. He is a current board member of the Gold Coast Waterways Authority (GCWA) and Vice Chairperson of the Queensland Recreational Boating Council (QRBC). He has experience in various areas of marine and maritime industries, having served and currently being appointed on multiple government committees. Whilst working for 23 years at Anchorline and volunteering on various committees during that time, he gained a reputation for being honest, knowledgeable and professional at all times, leading to recognition as a leader in industry and community. Andrew is passionate about all aspects of the marine industry and focused on its future success, advocating for marine careers and apprenticeships, boating safety and responsible boat ownership.
