AGM Advice
Associations are accountable to their members at Annual General Meetings and occasional other General Meetings.Because AGMs are only held annually, CEOs, Boards and company secretaries have a limited experience in getting them right.
Associations Forum can advise on many matters such as:
- Responsibilities of conducting an AGM
- Notice of Meetings and proxy requirements
- Logistics and preparation
- Managing quorum requirements
- Challenges of chairing or minute taking
- Voting procedures
- How to handle difficult questions
With the right advice, associations can ensure AGMs are conducted smoothly, professionally, and in compliance with governance standards.
For members, this presentation is included for free as one of our Gold Member Benefits (exclusive of any travel costs).
Our Presentations and Training can also be delivered to non-members for a fee.
