Wellington is living up to its name as New Zealand’s vibrant capital with a busy roster of in-person events and exciting developments in store. Registrations of interest are now open for Business Events Wellington’s fully hosted famil in March 2023 to experience the city’s business events offering.

With the return of quarantine-free travel and uncapped event capacity, Wellington is excited to be welcoming back business events from Australia. International conferences scheduled to take place in the next 12 months include the 10th International Crustacean Congress, the Island Biology Conference, and the International Zoo Educators Conference.

Meanwhile, Tākina, the new Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre, is on track to open mid-2023, with more than 60 conferences already penciled in at the central city venue.
