WISA announces new Executive Officer
The Wine Industry Suppliers Australia (WISA) has announced the appointment of new Executive Officer, Shirley Fraser.
WISA is the peak national, not for profit, industry Association representing suppliers to the Australian grape and wine sector. Its members are active and committed to adding value to the grape and wine community.
Incorporated in 2000, WISA has grown to become a strong and relevant body. It offers a number of industry inclusive and accessible initiatives to assist suppliers and grape and wine producers to make easier and more meaningful connections, share and communicate knowledge and to cultivate their businesses for success.
Shirley comments of her appointment, "I have some big shoes to fill and am raring to go; to share our new ideas, articulate our refined vision and partner with you as you optimise your connection in the Australian wine sector.
We recognise the last 15 months has been more than challenging for all of us. The WISA Board have continued to support members by advocating for suppliers, however events have obviously been unable to be delivered. Luckily the role of WISA is more than events so, as we start opening up in states where we can meet, our strategy will be hones to better suit the needs of members in connecting, cultivating and communicating with each other.
