Claudia Sagripanti Resigns as CEO of EEAA

Chief Executive Officer of Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA), Claudia Sagripanti has resigned from her role effective 3 December 2021.

Claudia joined the EEAA only weeks prior to COVID-19 commencing, and after two very challenging years navigating the association through that unchartered path, has decided to take some time off before exploring new opportunities.

"Claudia joined the EEAA only weeks prior to COVID19 commencing, and after two very challenging years navigating the Association through that unchartered path, has decided to take some time off before exploring new opportunities," EEAA president Nicole Walker said in a statement.

"I am sure that you as members, together with the Board of Directors, sub-committees and partners, join me in thanking Claudia for her tireless work for the EEAA and industry in her role as CEO. We thank her for all the work she has done, and we wish her every success for the next step in her career.

As a result of Claudia’s departure, the Board have agreed that we will take this opportunity to review the member priorities, reset and create a new staffing structure that best suit the needs of industry and members."

EEAA pleased to advise that a familiar face to many in the association, Past President Domenic Genua, will come into this interim management role to maintain the momentum of the Associations work whilst we review our future needs and recruit a new team accordingly.

Domenic has 22 years of Association experience and was also a Director of the EEAA for 13 years, that included a term as President from 2013 - 2016.

Taken from EEAA.
