Australian Institute of Office Professionals Appoints New National President

Wayde Walker, FAIOP MICDA MStJ, was appointed National President and Chair of the Australian Institute of Office Professionals (AIOP) National Board at the AIOP National Annual General Meeting earlier this month until the AGM 2023.

Wayde was previously the NSW Division President and National Vice President from February 2021.

AIOP is very excited about their new appointments and the continuation to strive and grow through the current times and into the future. AIOP has a number of Firsts for the National Board; Wayde Walker being appointed the First Male as National President, the First Indigenous National President and the First National President under 40 years old.

As a proud Gamilaraay man, living and raised on Wonnarua land, Wayde has built and developed himself as a consummate professional in the Administration and Management field across the Hunter Valley.

Having worked in a variety of Private and Government companies, Wayde has gained a vast level of experience in all roles administrative with a high focus on medical administration.

The AIOP Board welcomes Wayde’s corporate knowledge which will assist them going forward to being stronger and more sustainable in the future.
