Down Syndrome NSW appoints interim CEO
Down Syndrome NSW (DSNSW) has announced that Jennifer Evans has been appointed as its new Chief Executive Officer, commencing Tuesday 5 May 2020.
Ms Evans is a highly experienced CEO and manager who started her working life as a speech pathologist and holds qualifications in psychology and linguistics and in community and financial management.
She has held management and chief executive roles in a number of ‘social for purpose’ organisations, most recently working with the Australian Red Cross and The Benevolent Society.
Building on the solid foundations laid down by Kathy Chapman in the recent period, Ms Evans will in consultation with the Board and the team, lead DSNSW over the next six months on a member-focused path.
