YMCA NSW CEO resigns

After three years as CEO of YMCA NSW, Leisa Hart has resigned her position to focus on the needs of her family and ageing parents.

During her tenure, Leisa steered YMCA NSW through the Royal Commission process and led its transformation into a child-safe organisation. Leisa leaves YMCA NSW in an improved position and with the sincere thanks and well wishes of the Board.

Until a new CEO is appointed, YMCA NSW Chief Risk Officer Lisa Giacomelli will act as Interim CEO. Lisa brings over 20 years’ experience in the human services sector including managing strategy and operations in community, youth and children’s services and aquatics and recreation.

The process is underway to recruit a new CEO.
