DHAA announces new President

Dr Melanie Hayes, CEO of Dental Hygienists Association of Australia (DHAA) has announced the appointment of Cheryl Dey as DHAA National President. 

Dr Hayes released the following statement regarding Dey's appointment:

Cheryl has been involved with the DHAA for 11 years, and has served on our Board of Directors for five years as Treasurer. She currently works in an Orthodontic practice in Adelaide, SA. 

Cheryl is passionate about furthering the position of the DHAA as the peak professional body representing Dental Hygienists and Oral Health Therapists. She firmly believes that the members deserve a strong Association to provide leadership, advocacy, education and mentoring. We are pleased that Cheryl has been elected DHAA President and know she will contribute much to our Association and to the oral health professions.
