The launch of RegTech Association

RegTech Association launched on 30 March in Sydney. The Association will create a network of change makers who engage with eco-system stakeholders, advance the use of technology and enhance regulatory compliance outcomes.

Member companies include Arctic Intelligence, AML Accelerate, Complii, Cynopsis Solutions, Dynamic GRC, Dysrupt Labs, GRCSolutions, identitii, Meetig8, Red Marker, Simple KYC and Verifier. RegTech, or ‘regulatory technology’, provides solutions for businesses to effectively and efficiently manage risk and compliance. In many cases, this can dramatically reduce operational costs associated with regulatory requirements.

With a unified focus on succeeding through promoting an inclusive environment, the Association will encourage government, industry bodies, private and public organisations, corporates, small businesses and start-ups to stand together as advocates for collaboration and RegTech in Australia and the APAC region.

Corporates, individuals and government regulators are encouraged to get on board with the Association at this exciting time, as they shine a light upon Australia’s growing RegTech ecosystem.

GRC Solutions Managing Director and Chair of the RegTech Association, Julian Fenwick, said, “Our aim for the launch is to bring together key stakeholders and influencers, shining a light on the important role of collaboration in enhancing APAC’s growing RegTech industry.”
