New Zealand’s regions inspire Associations Forum delegates

A team of 14 business partners from around New Zealand met with 350 delegates at this week’s Associations Forum National Conference in Melbourne.
Conventions and Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) Australia Manager Sharon Auld said visitors to the 100% Pure New Zealand stand were inspired by the wide range of destination options across the North and South Islands.
“We were able to give them a taste of all our distinctively different regions and the unique offerings in each,” she says.
New Zealand’s largest-ever team of exhibitors hosted delegates on the 100% Pure New Zealand stand at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Kiwi hospitality was flowing on day one when the New Zealand team welcomed guests into their open space with freshly made juices. A constant flow of filtered water helped top up giveaways of sustainable 100% Pure New Zealand and Air New Zealand refillable drink bottles.
On day two delegates were treated to specially-imported New Zealand Kapiti cheeses and Cloudy Bay Sparkling, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir wines.
The team ran a prize draw and the two lucky prizewinners each won a case of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc delivered to their door.
The prize winners were Kevin Pile of Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology, and Mark Fraser of the Pet Industry Association of Australia.
