ICC Sydney's Professional Additions

With the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) on track for its December 2016 opening, AEG Ogden has announced the appointment of two new business development managers.

Tina Eggers has been appointed National Business Development Manager and Michelle Nahas has been appointed the Corporate, Government and Events Business Development Manager.

ICC Sydney CEO and AEG Ogden Group Director for Convention Centres, Geoff Donaghy said the appointments were timed to capture the market’s response to ICC Sydney’s brand awareness and business development activities. “With the arrival of Tina and Michelle, the team continues to strengthen and it is heartening to see each and every member of ICC Sydney thriving in this fast-paces, pre-opening environment,” Mr Donaghy said.

Ms Eggers arrives at ICC Sydney with more than 15 years of experience in Meetings and Events and is also a board member of the International Special Event Society in Australia. Prior to joining ICC Sydney, Ms Eggers was at Dockside Group as Senior Business Development Manager.

Ms Nahas’ background is in business development, sales and account retention and previously worked with Qantas in corporate account management and as a flight analyst.

Mr Donaghy said he was proud to see the professional development of ICC Sydney unfold and excited by the contribution the venue would bring to AEG Ogden Group.
