Optometrists Association Australia - Victoria is now Optometry Victoria

Optometrists Association Australia has changed its name to Optometry Australia therefore the State offices have also changed. This is a positive initiative to refocus the Association’s direction. By using ‘optometry’ in our name, we are sending a clear signal that we are working on behalf of the sector. Members have told us that the best way to progress the interests of optometrists is to focus our resources and efforts on advancing the profession and we have listened and we are responding.

MFAA CEO Phil Naylor decides to move on

The Board of the Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) today announced that Phil Naylor has advised that he will finish his role as Chief Executive Officer of the Association on 24th December 2014. Partnership of Risk Policy and Complex Project Management

New CEO for Rural Health Workforce Australia

Greg Mundy is the new Chief Executive Officer of Rural Health Workforce Australia (RHWA), the peak body for the national network of state and territory Rural Workforce Agencies.  Mr Mundy joins RHWA after three years as CEO of the Council of Ambulance Authorities, the peak body representing providers of public ambulance services in Australia and New Zealand.
