Social media is an essential tool when connecting with your association’s members and others in your sector. This workshop is designed specifically to help navigate the challenges of using social media. It will address how associations can use social media to effectively engage members, attract new audiences, and strengthen community ties. Participants will explore strategies for selecting the right platforms, integrating social media into organisational communications, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

Key topics include managing risks through robust policies, measuring success to demonstrate value to stakeholders, and ensuring consistent branding. Tailored for the unique needs of associations, this session will provide practical tools to enhance member engagement and achieve communication objectives.

The time of the online webinar is based on Sydney, NSW time (AEDT).

Member Registrations: $250 including GST 
Non-Member Registrations: $350 including GST

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Claire Hewat, Associations Advisor, Associations Forum

Claire has over 20 years’ experience in senior executive positions including two successful roles as a CEO at Dietitians Australia and Allied Health Professions Australia. Claire has also had substantial non-executive governance experience on four national and one international board. She has extensive experience in professional self-regulation and is currently chair of the Ethics Review Committee for an Australian allied health profession.

Claire has used her experience to provide support and mentoring to other NFP CEOs and boards in areas of governance, strategic planning, complaints and disciplinary processes, change management and more.
