Associations Forum, in partnership with Microsoft and Clade Solutions, invite you to join us for a morning of presentations focusing on how tomorrow's associations can succeed in this increasingly digital world.

The agenda will include:

  • Understanding the technology Microsoft believe should underpin the modern association and how technology can improve personal relationships with members, drive retention and engage new audiences.

  • Insights from the Association of Independent Schools NSW, who will be sharing their experiences and insights from their digital transformation journey; the key lessons they’ve learnt so far; and where they are going next.
  • Learning from Associations Forum about the forces driving change in associations; what you can do to better compete for membership loyalty; and what new business models associations must embrace in order to compel membership and survive.
  • Tips from Clade Solutions on CRM implementation; the pitfalls; the benefits and how you can transform your membership management and engagement.

Duncan is specialist in helping member organisations gather and apply business intelligence to improve their membership interactions and relieve the administrative burden so many associations face. Both Duncan and his team at Clade, bring valuable insights from experiences working with other associations. Together they are driven to increase member engagement and make it easier for associations to run their organisations

Brett Fraser

Brett Fraser is a technologist that is passionate about helping Small, Medium and large companies achieve more through the use of Technology. Initially from the Telecommunications Industry, Brett’s love and passion for technology and the solutions they deliver led him to a career at Microsoft. For the past 7 years, Brett has been working with key Microsoft partners and customers across a range of different Cloud Technologies to help Small, Medium and large companies digitally transform

Steve Morris

Born and raised in Canada, Steve has now lived and worked in Australia for over 16 years and has set down roots and established his family on NSW’s Central Coast.  Over the last 16 years he’s worked for and with some great organisations working in the CRM and Business Applications space.  Mostly Steve has been a key consultant to various corporate and government organisations in roles that include Solution Architecture, Presales, Team Lead and various roles in between.  At the beginning of October 2018, Steve joined Clade Solutions to grow and foster their Dynamics 365 & Business Applications team.

John Peacock

John is one of Australia’s most experienced advisors to associations and charities and is a thought leader for the associations sector. He is a regular presenter, both nationally and internationally, on matters essential to the governance and operations of associations, charities and other mutual bodies.

Since 2000, John has trained and consulted to hundreds of associations and charities, large and small, on strategic planning, governance, Board effectiveness, operations, restructuring, financial issues and external reviews. His particular areas of specialisation are mergers of associations and developing association plans that can be translated into actions, budgets and job descriptions.

Giovanni Trono

Giovanni Trono has been working in the government and not-for-profit sector for the last 15 years, concentrating on local authorities, government departments, charities and educational organisations. For the last 10 years, he has loved working in the Associations sector.

Giovanni is driven by workplaces that are at the beginning of their digital transformation, whom are in need of implementing and maintaining systems for handling large amounts of data, additionally, using this data to understand and improve social systems and technology to organise, automate and simplify business processes.
