Communications Special Interest Group (Online)
The Communications Special Interest Group (SIG) is an opportunity for Associations Forum members to share ideas, strategies and challenges with their peers in the association sector.
This SIG will look at the different communication strategies your association can implement to stay relevant.
*This Special Interest Group is a member exclusive event. If you are not a member, join now.*
Successful communications deliver engaging, timely and relevant information, anticipating the audience’s needs and wants. Whether communicating with members, prospects or other stakeholders it’s imperative to give thought to the audience receiving each communication.
- Types of communications sent to target different audiences
- How do you focus on your audience’s (e.g. members or prospects) wants or needs?
- What is the right timing for communications?
- Creating a communications hub and engagement centre for members
Associations Forum runs a number of Special Interest Group (SIGs) covering Communications, Events, Membership, Advocacy, Company Secretary, Finance & Human Resources.
It’s like a webinar, run via zoom – only more focused on group discussion.
Each SIG will focus on one topic and as a group, participants will discuss and compare different approaches and methods with other likeminded professionals.
We find our members benefit from the sharing of knowledge and our SIGs provide the ideal platform for this.
SIGs are free for all members of Associations Forum.
