ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Kirsty Blades, Deputy CEO & Head of Strategy and Innovation, Australian Water Association
Kirsty has an unwavering belief that we can all make a difference in the world and for her the greatest opportunity for this was in the not-for-profit sector which she has worked in since 2000, starting with Clean Up Australia as the National Project Manager for Clean Up Australia Day. Since then she has worked with a number of different Associations and organisations to deliver engaging events and programs and bespoke CSR projects in Australia and internationally.
In 2014, Kirsty was given a compelling reason to take her passion to the Australian Water Association (AWA) where she has had various senior management roles leading the events, marketing, communications and member engagement teams and now with a focus on delivering Strategy ‘25 and the Associations purpose of inspiring and driving a sustainable water future. Kirsty has been leading the Associations digital transformation ensuring it delivers on being member and employee centric. Importantly this includes how technology & data supports and enhances the management and delivery of the 100+ events the Association delivers each year for their 5,500+ members and the industry.
